Sinisi Solutions designed and deployed modular fire barriers for critical transformers located on a large dam in a major metropolitan area. Deluge and foam systems present major environmental and carcinogen hazards, and firefighting is extremely difficult. Sinisi’s Modular Fire Barriers provide the fire protection required to ensure that transformers remain unaffected by adjacent unit failure – keeping the power on for thousands of people and businesses.

Sinisi Solutions designed and deployed the first of its kind BESS Fire Barriers to divide large scale battery installations and mitigate risk. Sinisi’s barriers isolate rows of batteries, protecting the site from complete loss.  The addition of Fire Barriers was critical in securing the site approval from local AHJ’s, fire marshals, and the insurance provider.

Sinisi Solutions designs ballistic shields that cover the line of sight to major infrastructure including substations that transmit power to thousands of people and businesses. Sinisi’s optimized layout and design of ballistic shields and barriers provide complete line of sight coverage, mitigating the opportunity for gunfire attacks on the substations.

Sinisi Solutions designed and deployed a series of strategically placed Modular Fire Barriers that separate critical control buildings from gas heaters at the end of a major North American Pipeline. Sinisi avoided conflict with equipment and cable both above and below ground – saving money and time and delivering protection.

After an insurance review determined that a transformer failure would likely affect adjacent units causing extended downtime, Sinisi Solutions designed and installed fire barriers that mitigate this exposure. Sinisi Solutions worked with its client and their insurance provider to ensure the design was approved, and met the insurance companies’ guidelines for transformer loss prevention.  The Fire Barriers were installed during a tight shut down window, so that normal plant operations were unaffected.
